Priya Srinivasan is a Indian classical dancer. She pursued dance at Kalakshetra, the College of Fine Arts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and completed her post-graduation here. Priya has performed extensively in India and abroad and has conducted several workshops.
Presently Priya is involved in teaching classical dance at Vasant Kunj in New Delhi. She has taught at the Shriram Bharatiya kala Kendra (2011-2017), She has her own dance group called Trikayaa dance company .She is an empanelled artist of ICCR and has been a recipient of the Ministry of culture scholarship.
Rakesh Sai Babu
Rakesh Sai Babu is a Mayurbhanj Chhau dancer based in New Delhi. Rakesh is a recipient of the prestigious Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar in the field of chhau dance given by Sangeet Natak Academy in the year (2018-2019)
Born to a royal ancestry of renowned Mayurbhanj Chhau performers, He got the privilege to learn the art from his father, a renowned Sangeet Natak awardee, Guru Janmejoy Sai Babu. He's been carrying forward the legacy of this traditional dance form through the years. Chhau is a glorious heritage of Mayurbhanj, a state in Orissa, East India which incorporates elements of folk, tribal, martial and traditional classical arts. Rakesh Sai Babu has performed extensively in various dance festivals and shows all over India and abroad as well and has conducted several workshops in chhau all over the world.
He has been teaching at Amity international school Vasundhara for more than a decade now. He is an empaneled artist with ICCR.
He teaches chhau at his own dance Institute in Vasant Kunj.
He is founder director of Trikayaa dance company.
